Chrome

This band is called Chrome, they hailed from San Francisco and were made up of two main people, Daman Edge and Helios Creed. Originally formed in 1976 by Edge and Gary Spain. Chrome put out several fantastic records, but then broke up and each put out several solo albums. I love the crazy sound they came up with. The constant noodling solo guitar and the primitive sounding rock and roll drums, the scary keyboard drones. This was the stuff of Punk Rock when it got it's start and was more freeform. This song is from the album Half Machine Lip Moves. Some of there excellent output includes Alien Soundtracks (1978), Half Machine Lip Moves (1979), Read Only Memory (1979), Red Exposure (1980), Blood on the Moon (1981) are all brilliant. A lot of the solo material is cut from the Chrome cloth and is also very good. Damon Edge died in Los Angeles the summer of 1995. Helios Creed is still touring and putting out albums.
